Anyone Planning to Ride Saturday?
Is anyone planning to ride this Saturday? I would like to get a longer ride in if anyone is interested. I don't have a route planned just yet but am open to suggestions. Let me know if you are interested in riding and we can figure out where to go.
Idaho City - Lowman - Idaho City
I am thinking/planning on doing this on Saturday early. I was thinking of leaving my house around 7 AM so I can get back before its too hot and/or too late. A lot of climbing, beautiful ride. Not planning on going too fast, steady on hills personally but people can go however fast they want.
Harris might be in, didn't have time to mention it to anyone else yet.

Driving
So you are driving to IC, leaving at 7? I might be game.
IC Ride
Yeah, driving up there parking just outside of town or in town then doing the ride.
Arrowrock
Cory and I are talking about doing an Arrowrock out and back ride instead, leaving about the same time. Would anyone else be up for that?

Hmm... this sounds interesting too. I like the fact of not burning 2hrs in the car. I'd like to do something fairly tough, since it's the last big ride before our bike tour. It's like 60-70ish to AR and back, right? We could always extend it with a dump loop or something for a solid thrashing afterwards. (you might need to remind me I said that when we're done, and I'll likely ignore you ;))
Question - and New Faces
I've got family coming into town tonight so I'm about 50% as to whether I can ride in the AM... but, I just got a phone call from a guy named Matt Fowler who is interested in joining the club for some group rides. I told him it looks like their are two options shaping up for tomorrow and that I'd get back to him tonight on where people are meeting and when. Nate, if he hooked up with you and Cory, would that be okay?

I saw an email from Matt Fowler, I haven't gotten around to getting back to him yet. Just gone from work so I didn't get it today either. Sounds like you got to him, tell him I am sorry for not getting back to him yet. Been more crazy than usual this week at work.

Everyone is welcome. For West folk, 7:15AM at the bank by Target. For North Enders, 7:45ish on Hill Road.

Looks like I can join you for the first couple hours and I'll peel off around 8:15. I guess our house guests are accustomed to sleeping in until 9, so I can sneak out without them even knowing I'm gone... reminds me of high school.
I talked with Matt Fowler, the new recruit and he's going to meet us at the bank at 7:15.
Who else is in? Let's get a good train again!
ETA back home for IC trip?
What's the ETA back home if we depart Boise at 7am? I'm not sure if I can take the whole morning... but if I can swing it, I've got to be back to my house by 1:30pm at the latest.
IC Ride
Guessing ride will take ~4 hours or so. An hour or so up and back so hoping to be back before 1 PM. The Arrowrock ride will save some transit time no doubt, but is not even close to as pretty. If I decide not drive up I might hook up with you but for now, looking forward to the nice climbs through the pine trees.
Any other plans?
