I keep hearing from time to time that you are going to buy a mtn. bike. Just do it arleady. Try it, it's fun, just once wont hurt, besides everyone's doing it. It will make you popular! P.S. when I actually have a road bike again we need to hook up for a ride, just not Horse-Emmett yet.
You had to know this was coming:) I don't blame you though, but believe me once you have experienced the many, many, many "Moab Miracles" that our group has come accustomed to your faith will become sure. What a awesome morning ride!!! Matt and I rode from the Velo Park over to the trails that take you all the way back to Cartwright. The trails were great and the temp was really nice. Not to mention the sunny blue skys. What a perfect way to start a day!
(he thinks ANY weather is perfect riding weather) I got out a little later to try out the velopark trails. They were dry and fun. I got out too late to have any company, but it was still a great day for a ride.
I am going to run a 34 mile race sim on Wednesday afternoon starting on the corner of LH and 5-mile. It will be 2 laps around the 10 mile creek loop ending in the same spot. I have a race in Walla Walla this weekend that is very similar. This will help prep for it. It is a challenge ride. We'll be done in under 2 hours. Anyone is welcome.
