Bob LeBow Bike Tour -- Action required NOW!
YO! I need everybody's attention quick!
Bob LeBow wants all of the team packets turned in together, and they want to RECEIVE them before June 1. So I need to get them in the mail on Wednesday, May 28.
I've attached a sign-up form below.
For the Hobble Creek folks, please drop off the form and payment to my house. For everyone else, please call or email and we can work something out.

Speaking of Steve... if somebody sees him let him know his thermal jacket is down at the shop now. It was handed out to the wrong person and I've got it back over there now with his name on it.

Since everyone is stepping it up, I guess I'll do the 63 (Margo? Libby? Julie? I'm calling you out.)

50 mile pull?
Chugga, chugga. Dude, maybe 50 pedal strokes when the miles get that high! When I did the 100 miler in 2006, I remember the last 20 miles being something like a numb legged slog. Last year, I did the 63 with Kerry and that felt so much better. By the way, why is it that the US of A is one of the last places in the world to change over to the metric system? I like metric centuries. I like being able to say I weigh (right now) about 75 kilos or even better, about 75,000 grams of which, when I climb hills on my road bike, I'm really thinking about all of my grams I'm haulin' up and not my 7200 gram carbon Phooey, I mean, Fuji, beneath me.
Oops, I divert. So, which 100 will I do? My brain was wrapped around the metric century all these months since I upgraded Kerry to the TCR C1 frame and was going to ride with her. I guess you'll see which one when I hand you my paperwork.
Down to 35
Jack wants a piece of the action so I'm doin' the 35 miler so I can teach Jack the ropes and support his decision to give it a try. Gotta teach the younger generation how to suffer as well. Anyway, that will feel way better than the 100 when I'm finished and I get the same shirt and BBQ, but it may test Jack a bit as the longest ride he has done is about 10 miles.

Looks like we'll have a big crew. Mark recruited a few more friends, so I'm not sure what the total is now. But "Team Reel" should be very well represented!
I'm still missing quite a few sign-ups. Call me to arrange getting me the forms/$$ for the team pre-registration. I need everything by Wednesday (695-6539).

I dropped off my forms this morning... nothing like waiting until the last minute. :) Talked to Matt Hanson today and he sounded stoked to join in actually too though... not sure if he can get the team stuff rounded up to Ladd in time for that though so he might have to sign up on his own??
