Vuelta coverage -- stage 16 -- Fletcha rocks!
I was watching a bit of the Vuelta, stage 16, and when the coverage started, the goofy american with the football helmet with the antlers was running along the path. The 2 guys in the break went by, no drama. Then 3 minutes later the peloton rolled by. All of the riders went by on the left, except for Juan Antonio Flecha, who rode by on the right, grabbed the flagpole, and rode away, waving the big American flag! He kept it for quite a while while the guy chased. Finally he tossed it back into the crowd and rolled on.
