Rob, Tim, and I went up for an early MTB ride today. It was an awesome time to ride. The weather was cool but not too cold. We all over dressed and ended up taking layers off once we got to Corals trail head. Our place was to head up Corals to Scotts, then up to 4 and over to 5 mile creek. However, Tim had never done that little loop right off of Hardguy and Corals. So we decided to head up there. When we got down to the downhill section we noticed a trail that headed up to the right and continues up the mountain. We decided to take one for the team and check it out. It was cool to see the terrain but it would need some major work. If it was just trimmed out that would make all the difference in the world. I am glad we went up but as we climbed to try to find the top the trail became more and more scarce. After a couple of hours of doing this we decided to head back down. That was pretty cool because you really didn't have line you had to take. Just pick one. Over all I wouldn't do it again unless I had a purpose of cleaning the trail, but it was cleaned it would be worth riding. I broke off from Rob and climbed Corals and went down Bobs. That was a good ride and I have to say I love my new Jamis XCR bike. That thing just rips. I should post a picture.
Well that is my update.

FUN.
I'm always game for some exploring. :) So did that trail head up the gully towards the back of that canyon or did it just head off to the right uphill after you were headed back down the other side of the gully? One more trail to add to the cleanup list, eh. I think the one we did in McCall is still at the top though.
The Gully
It headed up the gully. We probably went up there a few miles before it got to were there was trail for 20 yards and no trails for 20 yards. I would agree. McCall (Cresline Trail) is number one for cleanup.
