Team Reel Theatre Elite Squad 2010
Hey I talked with Harris and Eric briefly yesterday and shared with them an idea I've been thinking about. For the 2010 season I want to have an elite 1-2 team. I'm trying this year to get enough points to get a 2 license and I am hoping to talk some other guys into the same thing. Then, I'd like to really train hard and motivate each other through the off season and show up to some real races next year with a competitive squad. We've seen guys like Justin Rose and Kai Applequist start behind all of us and then move on to the next level. I want to do the same thing. So, is anybody interested??? We could maybe recruit a guy or two from some other teams that are interested in joining us. Here is my proposed race schedule for the elite squad next year:
Treasure Valley Stage Race
Garden Creek Gap
Elkhorn Classic
Gate City Grind
Twilight Criterium
Mt. Harrison Hill Climb
Hmmm...
Interesting proposition. I think it really depends how my season starts to shake out this year. I'm giving it a full go at least this year with the time I've got... so if the results actually start to come I may be willing to get crazy with you.
Elite team
Count me out, I will never dedicate that much time to racing and training ever again to be a "good" 1-2 rider. Its cool to see you motivated though!
