Short Track Mountain Bike Race
We had a good turn out at the short track race last night and had a blast racing. If you have not raced short track yet, it is a lot of fun and a great work out. Myself, Terry, Ladd, Eric, and Brian showed up and represented our fine team. Haal and the Broken Spoke guys deserve a lot of credit for putting on a great fun event. Oh, by the way the course a set a real fast cool burms that you could absolutely fly through! Fun!

Rob failed to mention the he rode away from everyone from the very first lap and never looked back. He is rolling right now. Eric was right there as well. It was a great night and the course keeps getting better each time as they add more to it. For those interested, Broken Spoke/ Knobby Tire Series are putting on a short track race on Saturday May 9th. Same place (Larson/Miller waste disposal--Simco Road).

I could add that he also got something like 5th
in the next race, but again I was far enough behind to not actually witness any of this! Anyway, he had a screamer of an evening!
Fun times. I'll have to miss the next one (scout campout), but I'm going to keep my eyes open for more local short track events. I think there's one scheduled at Bogus late in the year.
