Local Authorities
Due to the local authorities Brad has decided to cancel it. If you wants to include more details he can. So for those who signed up to help at that race you should see if there is a cyclocross race you can help with.
Road Issues
There is no confirmed or "official" response by the people I spoke with. Basically they said they had received complaints about the cyclists using too much of the roadway, causes too many delays, etc. My best guess is that it doesn't help that we had the local Sheriff there driving by yelling at the riders telling them to move off the road etc last year and I think he made a stink the year before as well. For now, unless I am able to get more realistic restrictions it doesn't look promising for the race future but who knows maybe it will be better next year if/when I try.
