We're still doing ~20-25 mile road rides every weekday AM leaving my place at 6:30. Thanks to Ladd's awesome marketing efforts, the past couple weeks we've had a good depth and breadth of participants!
I'm planning to keep these going until the weather pushes us onto the studded mountain bike tires.
As we've had riders of different abilities join us, I'd like to get into a training routine so folks know what to expect. These will all be no-drop rides, but as some riders are training for CX season and want to push a little harder than we have been, we'll adapt these so everyone meets their objectives. Here's the plan:
On M/W/F we'll ride up in Eagle together north of Beacon Light. Those wanting to do sprints can do the stillwell loop and/or the three climbs at a pace that best suits them. As this is an out-and-back route, these speed demons can guiltlessly ride out and back with the other riders that are looking to maintain a more leisurely pace.
On T/Th we'll mix it up a bit between Avimor, the Homer Loop, Hwy 16, Hidden Springs, etc. based on what the group wants to do. These will be no-drop rides.
Of course, any given morning we can adapt as necessary.
Everyone is welcome any morning. It's a little dark now at 6:30. . . if you have a light, bring it, otherwise hang on the wheel in front of you and hold on tight!

Whoah, daily?!
You guys rock... daily Team Reel rides? Crazy cool! :) Sounds like you've got a few new people hooked as well. I didn't realize you guys were heading out every weekday, guess I should pay attention. Good stuff.
I may trying joining in sometime here... But I'll probably need to move to Hobble Creek first so I can get an extra 30mins sleep.
Make it happen...
Don't talk about moving to Hobble Creek unless you really mean it! :)
With the price compression from the realty crunch it's probably a great time to sell and buy. You'll sell cheap, but then you'll buy cheap too! Not sure of your price range, but I see 9 homes for sale online, 4 under $250K.
Plus...
Closer to work!
Nearby park (great play equipment)!
Close schools!
Next to the YMCA!
Most important reason... next to cycling buddies... Tom, Rob, Matt, Ladd, Steve, Dan etc... that's enough justification right there!
Let me know when you want to borrow my utility trailer...
If...
Since we're comfortable now I think it'd have to be a real winner of a house to move. But just saying... I've always like it over there. I thought it was way "out there" location-wise when we lived in those apartments... but now it seems so close to everything. :)
Our neighbor has had their home listed for close to 2yrs now. I think it's a competitive price even. Impossible to sell when the exact same home is sitting 3 streets over in brand new and fancier condition though. Corey Barton still has a pile of spec homes sitting empty in the backs of our neighborhood. Good stuff.
