Bogus to Boise Banzai!!!
So since this is the first year they've ever held the event on Saturday... who's in?!? The info on the wild rockies site is a little stale, but I've got word that it is officially on the 19th this year.

Updated Info...
I see they've updated the information on the wild rockies site, but it seems a bit confusing and not like the Banzai of yore at all... I'm not as stoked about it anymore, especially paying $36 to go on a group downhill ride. Maybe we need to organize our own ride and just do a brutal epic of some sort that links a ton of good trails together for our own "Banzai" of sorts. What do you guys think?
Here's a few parts that stand out and seem a bit weird:
"We encourage beginners to come try this organized group ride." (group ride??)
"we ride in mass to a undisclosed route. Finish is HALF WAY DOWN Bogus Basin Rd." (no longer finishes in Boise!?)
"The Banzai is geared as a organized group ride." (mentions group ride again, no racing??)
"Even though we are not racing..."
"This event is one of the last chances to accure points for the Series Champion title, for both the cross-country and downhill Series." (So not a race, but they're still giving points??)
Well that's odd
Could it be they are pushing it as a group ride instead of a race so they can hit the trails instead of just the dirt road?

Well that sucks, not going to pay the money to do a group ride. Joeli will be bummed out. Would like to do some kind of cool ride Saturday though. Riding at 4:30 today if anyone is interested.
