1-9-2010 Road Ride

I am planning on going for a road ride and start building up again for 010, Plan is:

Ride a rolling course at CP30 on the climbs. Otherwise, heart rate 1-2 zones. Mostly in saddle on hills to build & maintain hip strength.

So easy, slow ride keeping my heart rate low for around 2 hours. Planning on heading out around 2:30 PM.

Wish I could join... hopefully I'll get my trainer station set back up and into "business mode" so I can get something in at least during nap time.

Also, CP30 doesn't sound so much like "slow & heart rate low" to me. CP30 is more like 30min time trail pace... so it should even be even harder than a normal hour threshold level... if you're really doing rollers you should be working the ups pretty solid. :)

Hmm, well I don't even now what CP30 is, just copied it over from the Virtual Training thing that I used on trainingpeaks.com. For now I will keep to my heart rate zones at those zones I should never go above about 150, so that seems pretty slow and easy. I am convinced all those people that do these plans live in warm climates where it doesn't get dark early or have no job or anything else to do. If not I have no idea how they figure a normal person could ever get in all the training they suggest during the week. I guess you could ride inside day after day for 2 hours or whatever but after about 30 minutes inside I just about want someone to shoot me :)
