Eagle Island Cyclocross #2 (Oct-23-2010)
Here's the list of volunteers for the second Eagle Island Cyclocross race that people signed up for during our team meeting. We need to count on a minimum of two people for each category, and more helpers will just make lighter work for everyone.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We need at least 2 people in the registration section. So lets make sure we are full there as well.
Volunteers for Eagle Island Cross Race #2
Hello all,
I just spoke with Jared Rammell of Broken Spoke and agreed to meet some restrictions they have in order for race #2 to be included in the SICX Series this year. I will need a few more volunteers in order to pull it off as smoothly as I would like. I need to get 1 person (probably will be me as I doubt I will be able to race at this one) to help with the official. I also need to get 2 more people to help with food and drinks for the event. It looks like we have plenty of people willing to help with set-up and tear down but we really need another person to help with registration and then these new positions. If anyone is willing to help out I would greatly appreciate it. I know it it hard because everyone wants to race as well but we need to be sure that we can fill all the spots needed to pull off the race in a good fashion.

What time are the other spots needed? The whole time races are running or?

Yeah, pretty much I would guess. From the time the first race starts until they end, and a bit beyond I would guess in regards to the food etc.
Reminder
Just are reminder for this race tomorrow. We will divide and conquer and make this a nice seamless race.
Switch me to cleanup duty
I will be riding/running tomorrow morning in the YMCA Sprint Triathlon. But I'm sure I can make it out to help with cleanup after the cross races.

I just wanted to give a big thanks to Brad and Harris for putting together another awesome course. The course was very challenging which made it all the more fun to race in and especially watch. I am uploading a lot of pics tonight to photobucket so when I get them all loaded I will post the link. There are some really cool shots especially from the B race.

Perfect
Yesterday was as near to perfect day for cross as you will find. We had a lot of fans, great weather, and I believe Brad mentioned 111 racers. You will not have more fun on a bike or watching bike racing than at a cool event like a good cross race. It was great to see so many Team Reel racers out and hope to have more in the future.

Awesome Race and Pics
Great course again yesterday, Brad and Harris and the weather was perfect. Now that the suffer-fest is over, I can say I had a great time, although during the race I was cursing some of those slick off-camber corners! I'm glad to see from the pics that I wasn't the only one who got beaten by it.
I agree with Rob, it was great to see so many Team Reel riders!
