Antelope Island and State Championship
Eric and I went down to Utah last year and raced the Antelope Island road race. While neither of us had a race to write home about it is a real cool race and with a big field. I want to rally the troops and see who all wants to caravan down and represent Idaho Team Reel style. The race is May 1st (Saturday).
On May 29th in Pocetello is the State Champ. road race, how many can we get to participate. The more numbers the more fun. Plus, I know a lot of us are training for Lyle Pearson so we should have plenty of miles in our legs and what a great prep ride the week before the LP200.

Antelope Island
When is it this year?
May 1st
The race is May 1st and the Cat 3 race was only 45-48 miles, not too long for a cat 3 race. I know Brad has done this one before, but for those who have not the island has repeated rollers and then after a few times around the island there is an out and back finishing with about a 1/4 mile climb.
I know many of us have friends and family in the area who we can stay with. Last year Eric and I drove down Friday after work, raced Saturday and drove home after the race. It worked pretty slick.
