This does sound like a cool event, especially if we were able to get a big crew to do it together.

Glad you put the info about this ride up Eric. It really sounds like a great event and since it's the 1st annual one we want to make sure that there is a 2nd annual one! If anyone would like to a place to crash the night before or after let us know...the Denning casa may have a bed or two available!

maybe a carpool and a place to stay? Sounds fun. Ok, I'll look at the calendar and see if I can make this happen.
Since I'd only be looking for a spot on the floor (the room with the weights was nice), and I'd bring enough granola and hot cereal to share -- what are the odds that I can crash the night before at the Denning compound? :)

The odds are VERY good Ladd....the weight room is yours (cuz no one but you wants it!) Michele and Harrison McArthur just signed up too. That's 2 more slots filled at Denning casa. Yes and it's a screwy price scale...sign up soon!

Just checked the sports line sign-up site and learned that sign-up is cheaper if you sign up earlier. Thirteen slots are left at $45 and then it goes up $5.

I am signed up for the 3 summit ride, Margo if there is any room I would love to claim a bed or place to crash at the night beforehand (going to try to get Joeli to come up and hang out with us as well). I got the last "cheaper" slot.

I think I might be missing this one after-all but will have to check... possible conflict with a fam reunion, doh!

Brad and Dave you're booked. Brad is Joeli coming? I'm still not sure at this point if Charise and fam are coming yet or not but I'm sure we've got floor space at least. Sorry Eric to hear that you may be out. Nate are you in??

Anyone know what kind of elevation gain we're talking for all three summits?

I'll ask Harrison...he's very familiar with that road...that's where he heads out to hunt every fall.
Stats
From what I can tell it's about 6500ft of climbing for the full three summits, or about 1.6 Bogus climbs :) Here's a rough elevation profile for one direction (it's an out and back):

If she decides to come up it will be just to hang out, she can't do this ride. It is too hard with all those climbs to keep her heart rate as low as the Dr. says she has to now.

I am a maybe. I am signed up for a triathlon this same day. But if I can't get my running going then I am going to bail on that. Still can't run over a mile without pain shooting down my leg.
