Date Night Ride
As promised, the date night rides begin. It's summer, you know. My wife and I started doing rides with dinner in the middle last year and love the format, Ride-Eat-Ride. The first iteration will be El Gallo Giro in Kuna departing from our neighborhood (or Paul's market on Lake Hazel and Five Mile) for a 22 mile loop on some of the best roads in south Boise. Great for couples, fine for singles who like great Mexican food. If you have gastro-intestinal issues it will be necessary for you to take up the rear for the return trip. :) So, who's coming?

This sounds like a perfect final ride before LP -- I'll just have Jenny pull me the whole way.
Start time
Meet at 6:00-6:15 and roll out at 6:20 it will take about an hour to get there 45 minutes to eat and only 45 minutes to get back. That should give us plenty of slush time to make sure we are back before dark. The "out" is longer than the "back" by design.

That sounds like fun, if I can convince Joeli (and she is over the flu by then) we will try to make it.

Fun, fun, fun
We had a great time tonight with the first installment of the TdF (Tour de Food) at El Gallo Giro in Kuna. It was a beautiful 24 mile loop. The next one will be Thursday June 17th and may include a food stop and a desert stop. Stay tuned!
