Before I say anything more, I just want say that I was already a fan!

Anyway, mom called me last night. Seems that she had been out riding with my 5 year old nephew. Something about him wanting to race and also lay down some cool skids. Anyway, they had some kind of a crash. She ended up with a mechanical. I'm not sure what exactly, because from what she described it could be anything from a broken frame to mud on the tires. Who knows.

So now she's stuck, little kid by her side, unable to ride home. A kind-hearted stranger stopped to see what was the matter. He was also good with bikes because he fixed hers. And he must have been super-fit, because mom asked "Are you a racer?" He gave an "Aw shucks, kind of" answer. Humble to a fault!

The name of this mysterious do-gooder? Matt Hanson!!! Nice job -- thanks for helping mom! I think everybody who would read this post is already a fan...
