Alternate Emmett Route?

I thought I had heard rumors of a route to Emmett that avoided Emmett Highway? If so, can someone post directions? The recent events on 55 and in Salt Lake have me jumpy. Looking to avoid major roads for a long ride tomorrow.

what time are you riding, and would you like company? I'd be up for a good road ride tomorrow.
Little Freeze Out
If you grab Emmett Rd just past Middleton it will turn into Little Freeze Out and drop you down into Emmett from the other side. It's a great loop to then roll the South Slope over to Old Freeze Out (don't ride up normal Freeze Out, that's no fun), but then you'd have to ride 16 back from there so that part is prob for another day.
