Terry and I are planning to do an early AM Mtn bike ride tomorrow, meeting at my place in hobble creek at 6. We'll load the bikes to be down to the military reserve by 6:30. The plan is to ride shanes loop to 5-mile singletrack up to ridge road. From there we can come down trail 5 or hard guy or dry creek or 5-mile singletrack. . . whatever.
We'll be back to the bottom by 9 or 9:30, so this would be a good warm-up for those of you doing to the bogus hill climb.
Call or text me if you'd like to join us (724-2257).
Truth in advertising???
This sounds pretty casual....until you look at the 'commas'! So what you're saying is we'll ride:
Mountain Cove Trail, Shane's, would you hook up to 3 Bears or Watchman?, 5-mile Gulch, Boise Ridge Road, down something else...
So that's at least a 5 comma route -- maybe more!
I'll try to get out of bed and meet up with y'all, sounds fun.
Let's see...
Based on the official trail map "http://www.cityofboise.org/RidgeToRivers/PDF/Maps/R2RTrailMap.pdf"
Gold Finch, Kestrel, Military Res Connection, Buckskin, Shane's, 3 Bears, Watchman, Watchman, 3 Bears, Shane's, Central Ridge.
Now I know that this wasn't a crazy hard ride, but if you go off the map, we still had about a 9 comma ride. Anyway, it was a fun ride.
