Anybody up for a Saturday ride? I'm open to road, mountain or cross, I'm just lookin' to spend a couple hours in the saddle. To get the dialogue going, how about meeting at my place at 7 AM with the mountain bike and we'll head down to camelsback? The trails should still be frozen that early. Any and all are welcome!
Call, text or post if you wanna join me - 208-724-2257.
Paul has inspired me to put together an epic ride that will take those who are stupid enough to come along with me this summer from Boise to McCall using dirt roads. I know of a few people who have done it. I am working with them to get their routes and figure this all out. My guess it will take a couple of days and we will have to figure out support. I just wanted to post this to get an idea of who would be interested. It would be MT or cross bike ridding. Once I figure out how to put in the route in a map I will upload it. Lots of fun. This will be done sometime in late July or August.
I'm planning on doing this one. Y'all are welcome to join.
Hello everyone.
Just a quick reminder that this Saturday we will have another LOOK! ride leaving from Camelsback Park at 10AM.
Weather calls for starting temps rigth around 30 and should warm up to the mid 40's. Similar to last week with a bit warmer temps mid day.
Okay, the holidays are behind us, we're carrying an extra few pounds around and it's time to get back in the saddle! I'm going to resume my daily morning rides from 6:00 - 7:30. All are welcome to join me. During the cold weather, I usually ride the CX bike from Hobble Creek up to the Velo Park or the trails behind Seaman's Gulch, do a couple loops and head back, usually 17 - 20 miles.
Text me the morning of or night before to let me know you're coming - 208-724-2257. I've got a couple extra lights to loan if anyone needs.
I'm going to try and get a couple hour ride in this afternoon from 3-5, anyone interested? If the roads are dry, I'd like to do the Cartright loop. If roads are wet, I'll take the CX bike instead and ride up to the velo park... assuming it's not muddy! Let's plan to leave Hobble Creek at 3.
I am thinking of a Sat. morn mtn. bike ride. Anyone interested?
You're coming, right? 90 Minute no-drop road ride Thursday at noon. The meet-up is the Paul's Market on Lake Hazel and 5 Mile.
There is a group of South sider's queuing up for a Christmas Eve morning ride. We will be departing at 10 a.m. from Paul's market on the corner of Lake Hazel and 5 Mile. For some it will be a one hour Loop and others a longer 90 minutes to 2-hour ride. The first hour will be together. This is a ceremonial no-drop ride that we do every Christmas Eve and will average between 16-18 mph. All are welcome.
Let me know if you're interested in coming and will make sure to not leave without you.
I am thinking of trying to do a mtn bike ride this Saturday at around 12:30ish. I am open to where and what. Probably not anything to crazy. I would just like to get outside, get on the mtn. bike, and ride with friends. Who might be interested?
I am going to get up early and do a hard windtrainer ride and then around 9ish I am going to head to Hobble Creek park for some cross practice. If anyone would like to join me for a bit, the more the merrier.
