I'd probably rather ski (if the snow stays here that long) but is anybody interested in this "mall" ride? Has anybody seen it? Isn't cycling embarrassing enough on the road, but now they're taking it to the mall? Anyway, here's the info I got mailed:
But it seems like your Blog is a cryptic place to put it. That needs to be in a really easy place to find. Can Eric or Nate move it to the top? Like right after "Calendar" and before "Sponsors"?
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to Steve Luke on winning the B race today! Great finish!
I took 237 pics of the A-race, most of Rob and Harris, some of which can be seen at the following link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/72314089@N03/sets/72157628462292345/
Below are a couple of my favorites.
I'm lookin' forward to seeing other pics and Chris's video.

Hey everyone, so I emailed Mike Cooley at Georges and found out that the LP 200 registration opens up on January 1st - 8:00am. They also added a personal century ride as well as a team century in addition to the regular 200. Thought I would get everyone thinking about it so we can sign up a bunch. My favorite event. Hope my team will keep me on!!! Matt, Steve and Terry - you up for it again? Here is the link for the particulars - as well as where to sign up.

I've been inspired by Dan, and I'm looking at 2012. I think I have part of the year mapped out:
March 25-31: Moab mountain biking
May 19: Cycle for Independence - charity road ride (www.tvcblindidaho.org/cycle_for_independence_tvcblindidaho.shtml)
June ?: Bob LeBow - charity road ride (www.trhs.org/BobLeBowBikeTour)
June 8-9: Rockwell Relay 516 mile team endurance road race (http://rockwellrelay.com/)
July 14: Seattle to Portland - 200 mile charity road ride (http://shop.cascade.org/content/events/stp)
So, if any of you have ever wondered what it would be like to not ride for 2 months or work out for that matter and then show up for a cross race I can now tell you from first hand experience it SUCKS! So Saturday Rob and I ride down to the velo park and the race day jitters/excitement are kicking in. The weather was really nice except for the wind. The last race I did out there was Cringle Cross last year with all the snow so it was cool to race there and see what the venue has to offer. I would say after Eagle Island it's my next favorite place to race in town.
Harris and I were not planning on racing next week until he made a great observation that we all need to pay attention to. Many of us have been a little frustrated that there are not more Saturday races and that the State Championship races are mostly on Sunday. Also many of us have been wanting the State Championship of Cross to be in Boise. This year we have both. We are calling out all the troops, NO Excuses! No, "I am not shape", No, "I don't have a cross bike", No, "I haven't done a cross race before". We need to have as many Reel Theater jerseys out at Sandy Point as possible.
Well you talk about perfect race weather! What a great day! It was a fun course and a fun race. I started off feeling pretty good and had a good couple of laps. I then had a slower rider take me out and I lost contact with the group I was with. I rallied pretty good and felt strong anytime the course allowed you to get up to speed.
Saturday free waffles and fun racing at the Velo Park. Who is going? I am.
Who is racing this Saturday out in Nampa. I am finally going to make it. I am ready to die. Who is with me?
